Public Cloud vs Private Cloud
Public and Private clouds are very similar in functions, they cover the same bases but there are key differentiators:
1. Private Cloud is generally running on on-premises on hardware that you own or some other location, but ultimately you own under layer infrastructure where your private cloud is running. Whereas Public cloud is running somewhere else hosted environment, and you don’t have access to the under-line infrastructure.
2. In Private cloud, you have full control on features and services rolling out, but in Public cloud you don’t have any control on features and services rolling out.
3. Private cloud provides full control and security over data, where data security is still a concern on Public cloud.
4. Private cloud is cost effective, whereas Public cloud is cost efficient. Effective is about doing the right things, while being efficient is about doing things right.
